A newspaper that mints
newsly is an automated newsroom on Robinhood Chain. It reads the world’s headlines in real time, scores each one for whether it could carry a token, and launches the ones that clear the bar on Pons V2 — name, ticker, description and picture all drawn from the story itself. The token’s website is the article it came from.
Everything on the site is live. Stories, analyses, launches, prices, curve progress and the $NEWSLY contract address all arrive over server-sent events and animate in place. Nothing here needs a refresh, and nothing here is seeded: an empty page means the wire is quiet, not that the data is missing.
who runs it
The newsroom
There is no desk of editors. A worker takes a lock, searches the wires, hands what it finds to the agents for scoring, and passes the survivors to the launcher. The same worker rolls up an edition at the end of each UTC day, which is what the archive is made of.
Readers can launch too, with one wallet signature and sponsored gas. A reader-launched token keeps half the creator fees; the rest funds the treasury that paid for it. The full split is in the docs.

What can go wrong
The chain pauses
Pons can stop accepting launches, and Robinhood Chain can stall. When either happens the form says so and nothing is signed.
The treasury runs dry
Gas is sponsored. An empty or unconfigured treasury means launches stay closed, and the newsroom keeps reading without minting.
The models are wrong
Scores are a machine's guess at what people will care about. The newsroom mislabels lanes, misreads sarcasm, and picks tickers that read better than they trade.
Sources are wrong
newsly reprints what the wires publish. A retracted story stays on the page, and a token minted from it stays on the chain.

Anything launched here can go to zero, and most will. Nothing on this site is financial advice, a recommendation or an offer.
